I knew early on that art would be my path. So at 16, I left home to study at the Bildgymnasiet in Nässjö. But jewelry was not something I had in mind, and it was a coincidence that I got a summer job with a skilled goldsmith. She taught me the basics and my interest was piqued. During some following years I studied at Västerås Art School, Jewelry Design at Nyckelviksskolan in Stockholm and a number of independent design courses through Borås University. I also studied Graphic Illustration and Design via Bergs in Stockholm.

In 2003 I started Elindesign Jewellery, after a few years as an employed designer. I built my own jewelry collections, freelanced as an illustrator for various magazines and worked as a silversmithing teacher in the evenings.
A few years later, I wanted to deepen my knowledge further and studied at the Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence, Italy. In the fourth year I studied with my own tutor in Munich.
After graduation, I exhibited my jewelry art around the world and opened my own shop, which today is a stone’s throw from Avenyn and Götaplatsen in Gothenburg.
